The Sussex Barn is beautifully laid out, with a Courtyard leading to the Barn and the Courtyard is edged with the old Stables which have been renovated to a very high standard, which now accommodates the "loos" and what lovely "loos" they are, top notch! The other side of the Courtyard, is an open fronted lower roofed Barn that is home to the drinks bar, so I would presume you would have the choice of milling around inside or out for your wedding function, depending on the weather.
The entrance to the Courtyard and Barn are dressed with Milk Churns, topped with pretty flower displays and this is just one of the many country style finishing touches they seem to do very well. Well worth a visit if you are still thinking of where to have your wedding "doo".
We as exhibitors were well looked after, supplying us with teas/coffee's etc and with a constant supply of tasty morsels of food to sample.
I was kept busy thru much of the day with a steady amount of prospective Brides and met some lovely ladies out there and heard a lot of your ideas, colour schemes and plans and it appears that June seems to be the popular month, (so far) for getting married next year! Would love to think that I would be given the chance to meet up with most of you that passed by my way last week to design and create your Wedding Jewellery!
While Exhibiting at the Sussex Barn I had the good fortune to meet with a lovely girl called Grace, who was exhibiting opposite me. She is a Make Up Artist, specialising in Bridal Make-up. She had set out a really good Exhibition Table, which I always think is difficult to achieve for make-up, with all of her products and equipment on show. ![]() |
